First, let me get the bad news out of the way: Captain Lee is spoken for. As in married.

The enigmatic silver fox is pretty dreamy so I wasn’t all that surprised. Who doesn’t love the strong, silent type!

Anyway.

I became a fan of Bravo’s Below Deck at the gym. Marathons of Season 1 made my time on the treadmill and eliptical go by much faster. I wasn’t aware of yachtie culture and quickly got hooked on the ups and downs of crew members. Who’s flirting? Who’s fighting? And most importantly, how big was the tip?

Chartering the Ohana is out of reach for me (can you imagine how fun that would be?!), but I’m still hoping I get to meet Captain Lee for prime rib and Cabernet some day.

Capt Lee

OneChicklette: Your favorite qualities in a love interest

@CaptHLR: She needs to be my best friend, and my wife is. She also needs to be a beautiful person, not the beauty that only your eyes can see. She needs to have the beauty that radiates from within. I’m fortunate that my wife is both.

OneChicklette: Your chief characteristic (one word)

@CaptHLR: Integrity

OneChicklette: What you appreciate most in your friends

@CaptHLR: Honesty, integrity, and loyalty.

OneChicklette: Your idea of happiness

@CaptHLR: Being able to comfortably take care of my family, help my friends when they need it, and the less fortunate when I’m able to.

OneChicklette: Your idea of misery

@CaptHLR: Not being able to take care of my family.

OneChicklette: Your favorite fictional character

@CaptHLR: Rooster Cogburn

OneChicklette: Your favorite thing to eat, and also to drink

@CaptHLR: A big slab of prime rib, mid rare with a glass of good Cabernet.

OneChicklette: Five tangible things you can’t live without

@CaptHLR: There aren’t any material things I couldn’t go without, but if I have to choose, that cut of prime rib, that glass of wine, a good book, my computer and iPhone.

OneChicklette: What’s the number one item on your bucket list? (question via @SaraLang)

@CaptHLR: Travel the world, so many experiences, cultures, and adventures out there just waiting to be had. I’ve been fortunate, but would jump at the chance to do more.

@OneChicklette: Who do you know via social media that you’re dying to meet in real life? (this question came via @Tammy)

@CaptHLR: Hell, I don’t know, there are so many people out there that are so interesting that to pick one would be tough. I met Andy Cohen last year and that was really great. Would have loved to have had more time to talk with him.

@OneChicklette: What is your most annoying habit?

@CaptHLR: I sometimes don’t listen as well as I should, and I have been making a concerted effort to become a better listener. I think listeners make the best conversationalists.

Crew

OneChicklette: who should I ask to be in a future Twitter Spotlight?

@CaptHLR: Kate Chastain, our chief Stew. She is intelligent, has a quick wit, and has a sense of humor.

OneChicklette: Random shout out

@CaptHLR: Bravo, for letting me go on a once in a lifetime ride.

Below Deck airs Tuesdays at 9pm et/pt on Bravo
